It is part of our School’s virtue of education of helping our children understand and develop their sympathy, empathy, and compassion for others.

We have our tradition of organizing a “Giving tree” to collect donations and gifts from our children and parents for the less privileged children at Christina Noble Children’s Foundation (CNCF).

CNCF runs the Centre for Social Assistance to Disadvantaged Children. It is located at 38 Tu Xuong, District 3, HCMC. The Centre is home to 80 children of 6 years and below. They are orphans and children who come from poor families. Half of them suffer from mild to severe disabilities.

Due to the support and donations from various organizations, the Centre has been able to maintain great facilities providing the children with a better environment and proper care. We have found the Centre and its conditions appropriate and suitable for our children to get to know children in other communities. During our visit, the Centre’s children will perform a small musical to welcome us. Our children will play games with them, offer and present their gifts. They will also sing and dance to show their talents and friendliness. Parents are welcome to join us.

For donations, you can guide your child into thinking about what these children would need: food; second-hand clothing, books; stationary, toys, etc. The most wanted items, however, are fresh milk and diapers for 2-4 years old. Donations will also be placed beneath the Christmas Tree.

We will organize a Field trip to visit the CNCF orphanage in the beginning of December. All donations and gifts will be taken there a few days before the field trips as well as any last minute items.

It is wonderful to share joyous moments with you and having you as part of our MIS Family. We look forward to your collaboration and joint efforts for a happy and meaningful event.

“To give away money is an easy matter and in any man’s power. But to decide to whom to give it, and how large and when, and for what purpose and how, is neither in every man’s power nor an easy matter.”
