Every family has its own hopes for their child’s first school experience. Some parents wish for their child to be happy and engaged, while others look forward to building a strong academic foundation as their child begins the journey into formal education.

MIS believe that happiness and academics are neither the start nor the end of a child’s education – they complement each other and are both essential for their growth.

Through the Montessori Method, our goal is to nurture each child’s full potential, supporting them to grow at their own pace, and become their best selves.

In our nurturing environment, children are encouraged to explore freely, develop self-awareness, and follow their curiosity. They learn to recognize both their strengths and areas for growth, gaining the skills they need to thrive.

In today’s rapidly changing world, where information is easily accessible and Artificial Intelligence is reshaping our lives, academic skills alone are no longer enough. At MIS, children learn not just what to study but how to study. We nurture a lifelong love for learning, creative thinking, and emotional intelligence—qualities that empower them to embrace challenges, take initiative, and make a positive impact on their own lives and the lives of others.

I take great joy in founding MIS, the first Montessori school in Vietnam, in 2007—exactly 100 years after the very first Montessori class opened in Rome. Since then, authentic Montessori education has remained our guiding aspiration. MIS actively engages in the American Montessori Society’s Pathway of Continuous School Improvement, a reflection of our dedication to delivering high-quality programs.

It’s been an honor to mentor dedicated Head Teachers and Teaching Assistants who continue to spread Montessori-inspired learning far beyond major cities. From its pioneering role, MIS remains devoted to fostering Montessori education across the country.

I warmly invite all families seeking an authentic Montessori experience to bring your child, visit our school, and discover our close-knit and caring community. It brings me such joy and excitement to connect with you and support you on your child’s educational journey.

In the meantime, I wish each and every one of you all the very best!
